Screening: Used when the grains that make up the components have different sizes.

Siphonation: It is a process used to separate the phases of the heterogeneous solid / liquid and liquid / liquid mixture.

Flotation: is a separation process where the three states of matter - solid, liquid and gas - are involved. The desired solid particles accumulate in the gaseous bubbles introduced into the liquid. The bubbles have a lower density than the liquid phase and migrate to the surface by dragging the selectively adhered particles. Unwanted product is removed from the bottom of the container.
